Migos Do It For The Culture

Rap’s golden brood have finally released their sophomore effort Culture today, following the highly disappointing YRN (Yung Rich Nation) the trio now have the number 1 song in the U.S. [Bad And Boujee] and with the strong follow up single T-Shirt could this be their first number 1 album?

Peanut Butter Wolf Will Be Just a Stone Throw Away

The founder of the record label that signed some of ya fave’s record label is coming to your Johannesburg. It’s no doubt that Stones Throw is an iconic label, so when Weheartbeat announced that the prime mover and shaker will be landing on Joburg soil, a large part of the country’s hip-hop’s appreciators needed a minute to cool down. The event will take place over-looking the city of good at none other than King Kong. Follow @weheartbeat on Twitter for more.

Missy Is Back

Whenever Misdemeanor drops a video you know it’s finna be brazy. With outrageous wardrobes, to snow filled sets and the trademark dance routines, Missy blesses 2017 with the I’m Better visuals featuring Lamb. Definitely one to look out for

Mobbin At Fashion Week

F/W Fashion Week has dawned upon us again. A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg brought Harlem to Paris in enigmatic fashion with the Vlone AF1’s  dashed with cozy Dior outerwear. The Moshpit print is eccentric (leaning more towards jiggy) to say the least but who better than Lord Flacko and the Trap Lord to represent us?

Afropunk Fest to Jhb

When something like Afropunk comes to your city, it’s kind of a big deal. If you’re the kind of person that isn’t too fond of the site, or their events, it’s at least worth commending of the talent within Joburg for gaining the attention of the Afropunk prime movers. Mashaybhuqe caused a large commotion when he landed a gig sometime last year at Afropunk Fest in Paris. Among the local talents that they get to perform, I can already think of a couple artists that might make the event that much doper.
